What to Expect

Insurance & Payment

SDC Nutrition provides one on one nutrition counseling that is typically covered by insurance. Over 90 percent of our visits are paid directly by insurance, often with no out of pocket cost to the patient. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare. If a copay or deductible applies, payment is due at the time of your visit. We accept credit card, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. If you have questions about coverage, we’re happy to review your benefits with you before your appointment so you know what to expect.
Currently accepting clients in New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii.

Office Policies

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible and we’ll work with you to find a new time at no charge. However, if you miss your appointment without notice, there is a $125 no-show fee.

This policy helps us continue to serve all our clients effectively and keep our schedule available for those who need support.

Absolutely. We create personalized nutrition plans based on your specific medical condition, blood work, and test results. You'll have clear guidance on which foods to avoid and which safe choices work for your dietary needs.
Session length varies based on your needs and what we're working on together. We'll discuss this during your free consultation and make sure you have enough time to get the support you need.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes, we offer virtual nutrition counseling sessions so you can meet with us from the comfort of your home. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a private space for your appointment.
Please bring any recent blood work, test results, or medical records related to your condition. If you have a list of medications or supplements you're currently taking, that's helpful too. We'll review everything together to create your personalized plan.
